ABOUT US
The Center for Civic Responsibility is a non-partisan, tax-exempt 501(c)3 public charity based in Metuchen, New Jersey. Former lawyer and public servant Harry S. Pozycki and his wife, Caroline, founded the organization in 1996 in order to ensure their children would continue to thrive in a healthy and vital democratic society.

On October 16th, 2007, women leaders from business, civic, and community organizations came together to launch the Party Democracy Act.
Sponsored by Senators Loretta Weinberg and Diane Allen, Assemblywoman Linda Greenstein, Amy Handlin, and Valerie Vainieri-Huttle, the Party Democracy Act is designed to replace the "club house" rules of political party decision making with theguarantee of representative rights to all county committee members, half of which are women
